Ten years ago, these two young twenty-somethings crossed paths in the hallways of the art school where they both studied — one jazz, the other classical music. What began as a shared passion soon grew into a close musical brotherhood, with diverse projects and performances at home and abroad.\n\nIn this concert, they bring their experiences and influences together. Iskander Moens (piano, guitar, and voice) is known as a singer-songwriter and producer for his solo project Iskander Moon, with which he sells out venues, tours festivals, and conquers the airwaves. At his side is Rutger Mathys, jazz harmonica player and recently named a 'Twintiger' (Twenty-something) by Klara. He earned his stripes in the jazz world with passages in New York, Brazil, and Vietnam.\n\nTogether they bring music that connects them — from Bach to Brel, from Mathys to Moon.
