The performance explores how communication fails and how the desire for meaning and connection often strands. Humor and tragedy go hand in hand. Lazarus and Het Nut join forces. They are inspired by Russian classics and hold an inexorable mirror up to man and his behavior. The performance confronts, but at the same time offers space for discharge and relief. In a heated sauna, men and women discuss world problems as if it were trade. Where panic prevails, they see mainly opportunities to make a profit. Whoever positions themselves on the right side of a tilting history lets the money flow in automatically. While they continue to make shady deals, these men and women suppress their feelings and avoid each other's gaze. Meanwhile, they remain blind to the moment that their life will change irrevocably and radically.
