Alma Laloy in concert. World music, indie pop, storytelling

On October 31, 2026 at 8 PM, Alma Laloy in concert at the chapel of Profondsart Alma Laloy opens the first page of her artistic journey with a project that resembles her; at the crossroads of pop, folk, tribal sounds, and an acoustic and intimate sensitivity. She surrounds herself with her father, the accordionist Didier Laloy, to create a dialogue where everyone naturally finds their place, an unexpected in-between: Alma on composition and vocals, Didier on arrangements and artistic direction. Their musical meeting combines the sweetness of a Lana Del Rey with the power of world music. A sincere and singular collaboration, carried by a strong identity, without seeking to follow trends or flatter the spirit of the times. This year, she has already scoured about thirty cultural venues across Belgium with her group, leaving everywhere the sensation of an artist "outside boxes". Including her father, to whom she addresses some of her compositions without him really guessing the meaning. This paradox, playing her most intimate songs with the man whose recognition she has long sought, is like Alma: sweet and frontal, vulnerable and fierce. A sweet rebellion... Alma is one of those you don't put in a box without her redrawing the edges. She seeks, shapes, assembles. Disturbs gently. And that's where her strength is born: in this tender paradox. She is often told to let go of her father's accordion. To sing in French. To do "more modern". She does the opposite. By instinct, by sincerity, by pleasure.
