The young and furious Emma Rotsaert is a renowned actress (‘How to Kill Your Sister’, Play4 and Streamz) and experienced stage animal (Parkaparaplu & Body Electric, Sisters of Mercytribute) and has been wild for years about a band she has never seen live: TC Matic. TC Matic is the most legendary post-punk formation of the Belpop from the early 80s. Met Arno Hintjens, Jean-Marie Aerts, Serge Feys, Ferre Baelen and Rudy Cloet. Emma puts the sharp, hard-hitting grinding funk rock of TC Matic completely to her hand. She picks the most explosive dynamite from the three albums of TC Matic: TC Matic (1981), L’Apache (1982) and Choco (1983). The hits are there, but especially the forgotten live classics shine: ‘The Parrot Brigade’, ‘L’Union fait la force’, ‘Que pasa’, ‘I’m Not Gonna Listen’, ‘Ha Ha’, ‘Being Somebody Else’… To be sure that no nonsense is told, she engaged Marcel Vanthilt.
