Zondag de Negenste
Na having lost sight of each other in life, brothers Horst and Franz see each other again. Horst is tired of life and suffers from Alzheimer's disease. Franz is in financial trouble and hopes for his brother's inheritance by settling the emotional accounts. En Andrea, Horst's great love, also reappears and wants to take a place in Horst's life again.
The past, with the love stories, the sorrow, and the struggle between the brothers, comes back to life. Horst and Franz's memories also permeate the memories of other residents of the residential care center where Horst is admitted. Caring for each other turns out to be a foundation for human relationships. And whether someone still knows or not what happened on Sunday the ninth or not, is perhaps not so important.
