Humor is everything to Xander De Rycke. It is woven into his DNA. It is his passion and it is his work. The latter for 20 years now. The ball started rolling when Xander won Comedy Casino Cup in 2007. Since then, he has made no fewer than nine stand-up specials. He is also known (and notorious) for ‘Houdt het voor bekeken’, the year-end conference in which he firmly takes the Flemish media to task. What started as a small internet show grew into a phenomenon that managed to fill nine Lotto Arenas and two AFAS Domes. Xander is one of the most outspoken voices in the Flemish comedy landscape: as witty as he is ruthless, and with a healthy dose of self-mockery.
