De Diefte - the theft of the panels of the Lam Gods - evening performance

Since April 1934, the theft of the panels of Het Lam Gods has remained a great mystery; amateur detectives regularly come up with well-argued solutions to the riddle, so far without result ... But are all these searches even necessary? Is the panel even still as 'missing' as people think? Or is that what they want us to believe? Who benefits from the mystery continuing to exist? Who, along with the panel, has something to hide? Isn't it time to delve deeper into that? Raf De Graeve made an exciting Flemish film about this, where facts and leads from historical research serve as a guide. The film was made by residents of Wetteren, with Ivan Pecnic and all other actors from Wetteren, under the direction of Nele De Graeve, sister of Raf, and a Kade luminary.   In the run-up to the film screening, Cultuursmakers Deinze is organizing three lectures on “Het Lam Gods” in the Buurtcentrum De Rekkelinge by Wim Rasschaert, a gifted speaker and production manager of the film.
