In the soft evening hours of Tuesday, June 16, we invite you for a 6-kilometer panoramic walk through the rolling landscape of Sint-Katharina-Hauthem near Hoegaarden. We depart at 7 PM from the chapel of Sint-Catharina-Hauthem, where peace and history have met for centuries. During this walk, we will be guided by vistas, sunken lanes, and quiet paths. We will visit the Marollenkapel and pause at the unique Geosite. Along the way, you will discover how Gobertange stone and quartzite not only determined the relief but also left a clear mark on the local building traditions, daily life, and economic activities of the region. A walk for those who love to look and experience — and for those who like to read the landscape like an open book.
