KLINCK TRIO + SUZAN PEETERS

De Brusselse accordionist Suzan Peeters kicks off the evening and will undoubtedly live up to her rock-solid live reputation again. With a high-profile mix of accordion, electronics, and unexpected objects - yes, even a massage board - she explores the boundaries of her instrument with dedication. Her debut album Cassotto (2025) sounds as if you are crawling into the hidden resonance chamber of her accordion yourself: warm, soft, and deep. It is a dream combo with Klinck Trio. Violiste Elisabeth Klinck, pianist Maya Dhondt, and saxophonist Adia Vanheerentals (our Nova Express programmer!) create delicate, almost childlike soundscapes in which melody and silence flow cautiously into each other. Their album My hair is Everywhere (2025) was praised: “There is comfort in the cautious dissonance, beauty in the friction between fragile and raw,” according to Knack Focus.
