A concert that detaches you from everything for a moment. Outsiders invites you to slow down, listen, and drift along on cinematic sounds without borders. Ward Dhoore is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and storyteller. After years of touring through Europe, North America, and Canada, he broke through internationally with his solo album It Was All Heart, awarded and praised by, among others, the German Critics Award and the World Music Charts Europe. In his own country, he was selected for ‘De Twintigers’ on Radio Klara. Recognition is always nice, but on stage, it is mainly about one thing for Dhoore: connection. Met Outsiders, his new album (release early 2027) and accompanying tour, continues that line. Instrumental music and narrative connecting texts flow together into an intimate, almost confidential concert. A warm, quiet performance for everyone who sometimes feels vulnerable or an outsider. Live, Dhoore surrounds himself with strong musicians such as violinist Esther Coorevits, drummer Louis Favre, cellist Stanzi Cresens, and Jan D’Haene on flugelhorn.
