Planet Circus (Goes Out)

Tijdens de Gentse Feesten lands in Ghent again on Planeet Sierk. Together with Miramiro, we bring circus to the city, right in the middle of the festival bustle. From July 18 to 21, we will fill the Coyendanspark with (free!) workshops and our daily cabaret. But it doesn't stop there. On July 17, we head to Malem and on July 22, we make a stopover in Nieuw Gent to spread a bit of the circus virus there too. Friday, July 17 – Malem (Circuskerk, Oud-Strijderslaan 1, 9000 Ghent) 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM | Circusworkshops Kom try out circus yourself. Everyone welcome, no experience needed. 7:30 PM | Be Flat – Cuistax Een mobile circus performance with a cart, a Chinese pole, and a few acrobats with big plans. Saturday, July 18 to Tuesday, July 21 – Coyendanspark (Voorhoutkaai 43, 9000 Ghent) 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Circus workshops 5:30 PM | Cabaret Planeet Sierk Korte circus acts by experienced artists and up-and-coming talent follow each other in quick succession. Sometimes exciting, sometimes funny, sometimes both at the same time. 45 minutes of daily circus fun for the whole family. Wednesday, July 22 – Nieuw Gent (Kikvorsstraat 40, 9000 Ghent) 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM | Circus workshops 4:00 PM | Cul de Bas Productions – Bathyal Zone Een physical circus performance inspired by the story of Antigone, about injustice, resistance, and making your voice heard.
