From September 12, 2026, the unique experience expo Tor'Oud opens in the Kasteel Ravenhof. This interactive exhibition takes children from 6 years old, families, and primary school classes on a surprising journey of discovery through the past of Torhout. Your visit starts at an impressive scale model of the renovated Markt van Torhout, built with building blocks. Then you travel back in time. Spin the wheel and let chance determine which route you follow through the expo. Along the way, you will discover special finds and archaeological excavations that bring the history of Torhout back to life. Tor'Oud makes heritage tangible and accessible for young and old.
