Toy story 1
Director: John Lasseter – USA – 1995
When young Andy leaves his room, his toys start leading their own lives under the leadership of his favorite puppet, Woody the cowboy. Andy is also unaware that every birthday is a source of anxiety for his toys, who panic at the idea of being supplanted by a newcomer. Which is what happens when Buzz Lightyear is gifted to Andy. This intrepid space adventurer, who has come from a distant galaxy, will sow discord in this little world and experience countless adventures with Woody that are as dangerous as they are thrilling.
Much more than a simple cinema screening, it’s a piece of cake!
Organized every 3rd Wednesday of the month, we offer you a cinema screening for young audiences intended for 6-12 year olds with a varied and high-quality program.
A moment of conviviality where the pleasure of the film is extended to the taste buds during a delicious snack.
A moment to share with the family.
Admission is free for grandparents accompanied by their grandchildren.
Something to encourage intergenerational encounters during which they will be able to share an afternoon where culture, amusement, and indulgence mingle.
A rich and varied program
The films are chosen with care for the richness of the direction and the interest of the themes they address. But also for their spirit of discovery, exploration, and openness to the world and to creation.
Particular attention is paid to the animation techniques used in order to present the different facets of graphic creations (manga, modeling clay, stop motion, watercolor technique …)
We host each session with a brief introduction mentioning the conception of the film, its history, and its characters. Also explaining what motivated the choice of the film.
A local partnership
The snack is prepared by our new partner Artos located in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre.
This day center welcomes 25 adults, men and women, with intellectual and/or motor disabilities. With their educational project revolving around baking, this collaboration makes perfect sense.
Be careful, however, reservations will be closed 72 hours (3 days) in advance to give them time to prepare the snacks.
