A telephone came into the house, and a transistor radio. Homes got a bathroom, instead of the zinc tub, and a toilet inside, with real toilet paper. Daily life changed completely. Historian and storyteller Korneel De Rynck, author of the bestseller ‘The golden sixties', speaks with wonder and humor about how life changed between 1958, the year of the Expo, and 1973, the year of the oil crisis.
