Medieval course by Scouts Zeedustra Koksijde READY? ON YOUR HORSE! START! - Scouts Zeedustra Koksijde is back at Party in the Abbey, and how! They have devised a new challenging course for young and old. And yes, the hobby horses are also present. *Location: children's village *Continuous Spinners of the Noordmeulen, De Papieroloog, woodworker Antoine Pouleyn, basket weaver Lies Snauwaert AAAAH! THAT'S HOW IT WAS IN THE MIDDLE AGES! - These craftsmen still use the techniques today that were already used in the Middle Ages. Spinners of the Noordmeulen - From fleece to the ball of wool, washing, carding, spinning in all possible techniques, from spinning wheel to drop spindle, vegetable dyeing ... Weaving, knitting, crocheting, embroidering, weaving, and much more! De Papieroloog - Danny Mattijs is a visual artist who gives texts and classical writing arts a unique form. Handmade and regular paper are the ideal basis for his drawn and written artworks. He also works on homemade parchment, which is truly not evident and unique. He also makes most of his inks himself according to authentic recipes. Woodworker - Antoine Poulain still works wood in the traditional way. He makes, among other things, Flemish folk games and wooden sculptures. Basket weaver - Lies Snauwaert makes beautiful hand-woven baskets with natural materials.
