Our very own Mechelse Kelia Kaniki Masengo puts together a unique and powerful line-up. Expect wonderful comedy pitches and a lot of female power on stage! KHADIJA SABRIYE Eternal single, mother of 3, and nurse: that is Khadija Sabriye. Khadija fled the war in Somalia and settled in the Netherlands, where she developed herself into a self-made stand-up comedian. Expect unique insights and striking observations about cultural differences, which Khadija knows how to bridge with humor. DENA VAHDANI Dena is a Belgian-Iranian, queer stand-up comedian. Her comedy is anecdotal, pacifist, and sharp: she plays with differences, turns prejudices upside down, and makes you laugh about what actually connects us. Favorite comedian of Rosalía. (At least according to Dena herself.) ALINA SHARIPOVA Guess which comedian was born in Uzbekistan, grew up in Belgium (at the seaside), and currently lives in Amsterdam? Exactly: Alina Sharipova. Alina weaves a unique mix of cultural backgrounds into her stand-up comedy. She talks about the challenges of her upbringing and about balancing between two worlds. And she does that well: she won the Leids Cabaretfestival 2026 (and in comedy land that is really a serious mark of quality)! KELIA KANIKI MASENGO She is an up-and-coming comedian with an energetic and disarming style. For her comedy, Kelia is inspired by everyday life. But yeah, what actually happens in the life of a recently divorced forty-something with a midlife crisis and a seven-year-old child? Not much, right? Or is there? Come and find out! SOE NSUKI Soe is an author, screenwriter, TV maker, stand-up comedian, and also chairman and only member of the international cool glasses wearers club. Soe has already brought the house down in her theater shows 'Soetopia' and 'Soenami'.
