The choral music from this region has a centuries-old, versatile tradition. It is mostly a cappella and is characterized by ethereal sounds and a minimalistic character. The program alternates classical and contemporary work with arrangements of traditional folk music and concludes festively with a few well-known Scandinavian pop songs.
