Ezra Feinberg is an American composer and guitarist, also a psychoanalyst, known in particular as a founding member of the psychedelic collective of San Francisco Citay. His solo work develops a contemplative approach where guitar, minimalist composition, and improvisation meet in immersive soundscapes.
Through writing based on repetitive motifs, expansive melodies, and instrumental drifts, Ezra Feinberg constructs music that is both luminous and introspective, carried by a strong meditative dimension. His albums Pentimento and Others and Recumbent Speech have gradually affirmed this singular identity.
Avec Soft Power (2024), acclaimed by critics, Feinberg further deepens this research by surrounding himself with collaborators such as Mary Lattimore, David Moore, or Jefre Cantu-Ledesma. The record unfolds organic and hypnotic music, between melodic delicacy and improvised bursts, confirming his place among the most singular figures of the contemporary ambient and experimental scene.
