In a contemporary, playful reworking of a classic fairy tale, the forest becomes a place full of magic, danger, and imagination. If people in poverty can barely give their children food anymore, there is no choice left: send them into the forest and hope they survive. Maybe they will meet someone who is rich or can do magic. Maybe a friendly giant or a pointy gnome. It could also be a wolf or a troll. Or maybe they will find a tasty house of cookies and candy and be happy and satisfied. Who is nibbling at my house... After ‘ROODHAPJE’, Theater Froefroe dives back into the fairy-tale forest and conjures a classic fairy tale into a contemporary theater treat. Full of actors, puppets, music, and... maybe even songs to sing along to.
