Kazdoura is a vibrant fusion of Arabic maqams (microtonal scales), groovy Middle Eastern rhythms, psychedelia and soulful jazz saxophone. The result is a fresh and exciting take on Arabic classics and original compositions. The band was founded by Syrian singer Leen Hamo and Lebanese jazz musician John Abou Chacra. Their music is rooted in Levantine Arab traditions and fueled by genre-crossing experimentation.
