Rena’s world turns upside down when the mysterious Fatilou appears and disappears in her class, after which she goes in search of what it means to be truly seen in a mix of play, film, and self-made decor. Rena is fourteen. She expects nothing from life, nothing from herself, nothing from school. And everyone is allowed to know that. She is blunt and sets the mood in the class. Until a new student joins the class, who disappears just as suddenly after a few months: Fatilou. Since then, everything is different. What if your entire universe is suddenly turned upside down and you are finally truly seen? Rena tries to grasp what happened to her and, together with her class, makes a film about Fatilou. Play, film, and a self-made decor come together in this immersive performance about two contemporary heroines and the search for their place in the world.
