Schntzl plays electronic music that makes you think about what sound actually is. Hendrik Lasure (piano, electronics) and Casper Van De Velde (drums, electronics) are key figures in Belgian jazz . They are active in numerous projects. In schntzl, they find their most unique form: hyper-visual, emotional, and uncompromisingly bold. On the new album ‘Fata Morgana’ , which will be released in February via VIERNULVIER Records, schntzl merges acoustic and digital sounds into a retro-futuristic world. In it, experimental jazz, restless electronics, and euphoric trance come together.
