Bat Night at Poeke castle domain

Have you ever wondered how bats can hear? Or how they catch insects? Do you want to experience how bat ears work? Then sign up for our bat walk in Poeke on Friday evening, August 28. In the hoeve van het kasteeeldomein van Poeke, we will first talk for half an hour about these flying mammals. You will get to know the different species of bats that we can observe in and around Poeke, you will hear how they orient themselves, and how we can detect them with a bat detector. Afterwards, we will head out: in search of bats in the castle grounds as they are shrouded in darkness. An educational and exciting activity for children and adults alike!
