Reveil / Emma Hessels - Consolation concert

On November 1st, Reveil breaks the silence in cemeteries all over Flanders with intimate music and local stories. On our Warmste Begraafplaats van Vlaanderen (2023), we commemorate the people we unfortunately have to miss in a warm, contemporary way. Between 5 PM and 6 PM, a soft blanket of music descends during an intimate and heartwarming concert at dusk. Sometimes you just need a moment when everything stops, where feelings run free, hearts beat faster, and a voice from another world touches you to the depths of your soul. Emma Hessels is just such an artist. Armed with nothing more than her voice and guitar, she balances effortlessly over the deepest chasms of longing, love, and loneliness. Since her selection as a laureate of Sound Track 2023, Emma Hessels has been conquering hearts across the country, show after show. That earned her nice performance opportunities, such as a spot at Best Kept Secret and supports for Cat Power and Mavis Staples. Her debut EP was released on October 24, 2025, at Unday Records.
