Twenty years ago even with Goddam!, a tribute to Nina Simone, who had passed away a year earlier. Frateur, known for his soulful voice and unique stage presence, now brings an ode to the jazz divas of bygone days. With Met Billie Holiday as the shining center, he weaves an intimate and compelling musical journey along timeless songs full of passion, love, and melancholy. Together with Nicolas Rombouts, Steven Cassiers, and Bram Weijters (Dez Mona, anyone?), Frateur revives the magic of the jazz repertoire in idiosyncratic, personal interpretations.
