Place for artists - The Communal Square in celebration

Organized with the support of Commune de Rixensart and Walloon Brabant. To close the summer gently and fill up on memories before the start of the school year, Place Communale transforms, for an afternoon, into a true playground for games and discoveries. "Place to the artists, Place Communale in celebration" is an event that has become a must for families: a simple, joyful moment accessible to all, where young and old meet to share one last summer interlude together. From 2:30 PM to 5 PM, come enjoy the giant games offered by Fox et Compagnie, learn about circus arts with the Walloon Brabant Circus School — juggling, balance, aerial silk — or let yourself be carried away by the musical atmosphere of Gzoo Collectif. With their astonishing ghettoblaster bike and its interactive beatmaking station, they invite the public to discover, explore, test, create... or simply enjoy this communicative and festive energy typical of hip-hop. Throughout the afternoon as well, the Compagnie des Bonimenteurs will also offer "Fishing for stories", a theatrical, poetic, and participatory animation that will delight the imagination. At 3 PM, make way for movement with a hip-hop dance workshop accessible to all, followed at 4 PM by a street theater show full of humor and surprises. At 5 PM, the day continues with "the family party": a large convivial celebration to dance together, all ages combined, in a festive and relaxed atmosphere. A bar and food trucks will be present to allow everyone to fully enjoy the event without rushing. Free and open to all, this festive afternoon honors artists mainly from Wallonia and is part of the support of Commune de Rixensart and Walloon Brabant.
