Pioneers in the Wonder Forest (WGOV)

During this walk, you will get to know the area and some pioneers of this former sand extraction site. You will learn how the Sand Martin, the rabbit, the Cladonia lichen, the Birch, the Bee Orchid, and other plants are adapted to a life in the sand, or why they specifically choose these extreme living conditions. The walk follows narrow paths, among other things, and may be muddy. A good pair of walking shoes is recommended. The walk is not accessible for strollers or wheelchairs, and we leave the dog at home. Register via the orange button below.
