We will take you through the Bourgognepolder in the border area of Gistel, Ichtegem, and Oudenburg. It is a natural climate buffer and a living archive of man and water. The wet grassland with its fine-meshed system of ditches and canals has an exceptional meadow bird population, with the curlew as a symbol species.
