Le Conseil of the Villains

To celebrate the 80 years of its existence, a luxury multinational decides to organize a lavish and select gala. For the occasion, the company gives carte blanche to a zany and limitless artist, who imagines a whole evening around the theme of the jungle. Freshly arrived by private jet, while the preparations are not yet finished, the CEO of the company announces to his circle of privileged people, already on site, that his niece will succeed him - which displeases his right-hand man, Eva Pritsky, enormously. She then imagines a terrible vendetta. With a certain humor, Alyssa Tzavaras is interested in how power and the desire for power lead to catastrophe. Accidents follow one another, nature rumbles, trapping the protagonists in a huge warehouse. In this exuberant scenography, which opposes the artificial tropical environment of the evening to the muffled presence of the snowstorm outside, the director plays with excess and overflow, revealing how devastating nature echoes the megalomaniacal excess of these characters. Le Conseil des Méchants is a satirical work, populated by predators and prey. The desire to dominate animates each of the characters, as mean as they are complex.
