Nature walk: spring bloomers and their visitors

Natuurwandeling: lentebloeiers en hun bezoekers Spring is making itself felt in Palingbeek: plants, flowers, trees & animals are awakening ... Flowers and blossoms attract insects looking for nectar and pollen. In turn, those insects form a feast for birds and small mammals such as shrews, hedgehogs, garden dormice, and moles. Thanks to renewed nature management, insects get more space and nature blooms longer throughout the year. That ensures more life, everywhere. Together with regional guide Lieven Stubbe we enjoy nature, spot insects, and keep an eye on birds.  Practical Length of walk: 6 km This activity is not wheelchair accessible. Take binoculars, and in warm weather also a drink, with you. Provide sturdy walking shoes and appropriate clothing.
