Circus Ronaldo - SOLO

Pepijn Ronaldo walks the path of seven generations of comedians. After his training at the circus humanities in Leuven and ‘l’École Internationale de Théâtre Lassaad’ in Brussels, Pepijn returned to his family at Circus Ronaldo in 2020. Here he was part of various performances including 'Applaus', 'Sono io?', and Da Capo. To date, he let himself be guided in his artistic search by the people around him. Now the moment has come to find a path himself, to grope in the dark, and to go in search of his own path full of curiosity. A balancing exercise between his own dreams and the wishes of the audience. As a conversation between player and spectator, he goes in search of what is ‘good enough’ for this great moment. Of what we actually all expect. Is it ‘the spectacle’? The gags and the tricks? Or just the human? The doubting, the fear, the pleasure, ...
