Au pied de la statue « Simon Bolivar el libertador », boulevard Simon Bolivar (face à l’entrée de la Gare du Nord), Brussels
€10–15
To the north of the pentagon, Brussels is rich in postmodern architectural heritage nestled in the interstices of Brussellization. Indeed, the traumas caused by post-war functionalist urbanism motivated architectural offices, such as Atelier de Genval and Atelier d'Art Urbain, starting in the 1970s, to propose an architecture characterized by the return of decoration, the concern for the integration of the built environment into the urban fabric, and the reinvestment of old heritage.
ARAU takes you, from Gare du Nord to the former KBC headquarters, on an original route retracing the history of postmodern architecture in Brussels!
