Voices from the Nieuwe Wereld

The choir Viva Voce seeks inspiration from American composers from the past 100 years, from Samuel Barber to Eric Whitacre. Het Close Harmony Ensemble from the municipal academy for music and word from Dendermonde joins in with compositions from the same period. With an alternation of very intimate and exuberant choral works, the rich range of choral music from the Nieuwe Wereld is presented to the public. Tim De Knop accompanies both choirs on the piano.
