No More Heroes (Try-Out) - Alex Agnew

Thu, 24 Sept 2026 · 20:00
Cultuurcentrum Scharpoord, Knokke-Heist
€22–25
In his most personal performance to date, Alex goes in search of heroes. In these dark times of war, polarization, superhero fatigue, and malleable truth, will he find anyone who wants to fight for the (real) truth and justice? Is he capable of being that hero himself? Or are there really NO MORE HEROES? Alex Agnew is a monument in the Belgian comedy world. Since he became the first Belgian to win both the jury and audience award at the Leids Cabaret Festival in 2003, he has grown into one of the most talked-about voices of his generation on stage. As the first comedian in Belgium and Western Europe, he filled a sold-out Sportpaleis (now Afas Dome) 5 times in 2011, a stunt he would repeat several times in the years that followed. Razor-sharp humor, razor-sharp analyses, raw, loud, sharp, and steeped in pop culture, music, and social criticism, with timing that you have to respect. A style with which he has been filling and shaking theaters, arenas, and Afas Domes (formerly Sportpaleis) for years. Are you ready for NO MORE HEROES?
