Her works are distinguished by vibrant colors, harmonious contrasts, and a spontaneous movement that infuse each canvas with luminous and lively energy. Joëlle Dumont lives in Xhendelesse, a small village in the heart of the Belgian countryside. Passionate about papier-mâché for nearly twenty years, she discovered this technique during a leisure workshop and has since continued to explore its multiple possibilities. Self-taught and a biochemist by training, she works with paper in various forms, which she combines to create a poetic, sensitive, and gentle universe.
