Comedian Gunter Lamoot cannot be put in a box. Absurd “sketches”, recognizable classical comedy, clever remix videos, crazy songs, wacky characters... everything can pass in review in his unique comedy world. Brace yourself to be surprised at his “Lamootjes”. In thirty years, Gunter Lamoot has grown from enfant terrible to a cult comedian of the purest kind. He took his first steps in humor in 1995 with the legendary Studio Kafka on Studio Brussel. In 1999 he stepped into the stage light himself as a stand-up comedian for the first time and won the Lunatic Comedy Award the year after. His big breakthrough came in 2005, when he won Humo’s Comedy Cup. Meanwhile, he wrote six theater shows. His latest feat is The One & Lonely. On television, he was regularly seen as a comedian and coach in Comedy Casino, as a jury member in De Slimste Mens Ter Wereld, sidekick in De Ideale Wereld, and as presenter of his own program Superstaar. Furthermore, he regularly appears as a guest actor in fiction series, including Nonkels, Chantal, and Bevergem.
