Visit to Lillo-village & Polder Museum (with optional bicycle tour)

We head with Willemsfonds Merksem to the historic Lillo-village for an afternoon full of polder stories and heritage. In the Polder Museum, you will discover through themed rooms what life in the Antwerp polders looked like, from crafts to daily life. The museum is located at Tolhuisstraat 10–16, Lillo (Antwerp). For the sporty ones, there is (barring bad weather) a joint bike ride: we leave at 1 PM at the Kroonplein in Merksem and ride together towards Lillo-village, where we gather at 2 PM. Those who prefer to join on the spot can come directly to Lillo at that hour. The museum visit starts at 2:30 PM. We conclude with a cozy snack and drink in the village (pancake, waffle, …).
