We are celebrating because Cultuurhuis Altena has existed for 20 years! Point Nemo is a self-made animated film that tells the story of a lonely fisherman who sets off on an extraordinary journey. Live music and sound effects bring the film completely to life. Everything you see was made by hand. From the story and the drawings to the recycled sets and the stop-motion images. The characters speak their own universal language, understandable to everyone. The creators take you on a wonderful adventure. POORT 10 is the new makers' collective of Mechelaars Jan Lettany, Rik Lettany, and Tom Schiepers. Their diverse backgrounds ensure a creative search that brings them to the intersection of animated film, music, and figure theater. Social engagement is central. This comes out in the stories they tell, but also in the way they tell those stories. A film made entirely from recycled waste material? Bypassing language to easily perform for a diverse audience? A multidisciplinary pop-up performance with engaged stories? That is POORT 10. credits idea and design, live performance, music and sound effects Jan Lettany, Rik Lettany and Tom Schiepers with the support of Stad Mechelen with thanks to Radar Mechelen, Mest Mechelen, Brandwerk, Hans Lettany (titles.tv) and Paul Lettany www.poort10.be location This performance takes place in a caravan in the Altenapark. duration 30' reservation You buy a ticket for both your child and the adult companion(s) time This performance plays three times in the Altenapark on October 3.
