Join us on the rooftop this Wednesday, August 19th for a sensationally pop and FINTA evening! On the program, two artists whose choruses will stay in your head for a long time:
First live showcase for the solo project of Carla Biber! Carla is a singer, producer, and of course a drummer, already spotted in many Belgian bands. Distinguished for having been the first female drummer to graduate from the CRB and the Conservatorium Maastricht, she is now beginning a metamorphosis to offer, under her own name, the first 5-track EP of her passion project: jubilant 80s pop songs skillfully arranged (you have to think of Chappell Roan, Prince, Magdalena Bay), endowed with crescendo structures, very lively ad-libs, where you can feel her love of harmony, her queerness, and where she can reveal herself, on several tracks, in a singer/drummer posture. As a child during the 2000s, she was ready to swear that her suburb in the Liège region had the incandescent color of a fantasized and cinematic America, between sunsets over open-air parking lots and endless bowling games. It was during one of these that she discovered, on discount screens, Prince, Phil Collins, and all those artists who brought her to music. If you add a dash of female electronic pop from the BRAT period and the influence of jazz arrangement classes, you get a quite unique cocktail. On stage, she is surrounded by 2 musicians for a Guitar, Synth, Drums/Vocals formation. Her 3 first singles "Shy", "Bada-Boom" (ft. Shoko Igarashi) and "Danish Girl" were released successively during the spring of 2026 and obtained the precious support of several media outlets like JAM, BBC6, Larsen, LN Radio, Track32… she is now preparing to release her EP on September 25th with a beautiful release party at the Atelier 210 in October and comes to present her music as an opening act in the open air in the magnificent setting of the rooftop.
