Cock-a-doodle-doo! Cluck, cluck, cluck! Tok, tok, tok! Scuttling, cackling, pecking, clucking. Tick, tock, tok, everyone on the roost! Jingle, jingle, jangle. Bim, boom, baf. The fox is visiting - chaos in the chicken coop. Feathers and chickens flying around, chickens on the spit, head in the ground. A plan devised, the fox chased away – BOO! Bye-bye fox! Toedelidoe Alles is all good again. Egg, nest, nesting instinct. Peep, peep, crack, baking. Chick 1, 2, and number 3. Number 4 has teeth, claws on its wings, big paws, and a long tail. Trix is different, can actually fly, run faster, jump higher, doesn't cluck, but barks, grows big, bigger, biggest. Oops, he bites. A performance about a wonderful animal that fascinates young and old, that lays eggs and eats everything. A performance about being different, but also not really.
