In the mid-1980s, John Davidson grows up in a small Scottish town. He dreams of becoming a professional footballer, but on the day an important talent scout comes to watch a match, John suddenly develops strange tics. He also keeps shouting out highly inappropriate things, which often gets him into trouble. Eventually, he is diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome, a condition that is still largely unknown, leading John to face a great deal of misunderstanding.The inspiring, true story of John Davidson, who, through his honesty and humour, helped the world better understand what it means to live with Tourette’s syndrome.
