Action Item

Alternating images of landscapes and testimonies of life experiences related to burn-out, whether professional, student or activist, Action Item invites us to look beyond the individual reasons and responsibilities of exhaustion. Starting from a common space of sharing difficult experiences, these people deliver stories that very often do not find the necessary echo or are experienced as shameful or not resilient enough. Burn-out is the disease of this century and yet the social causes of its existence are rarely linked to all these life paths marked durably. Through the sensoriality of the images, we are invited to plunge for a moment into the eyes, sensations and narrative of these people who reveal themselves in this intimacy set up by the director, who herself starts from her own personal experience.
