The Datsuns (nz) Ripping guitars, screeching vocals, and tons of energy. When we say ‘Like a motherfucker from hell’, you probably already know exactly what we are talking about. The Datsuns started their career in the early 2000s with delicious garage rock and clear influences from The White Stripes, Jet, and Wolfmother. Children of their time, we call that. With earworms like ‘Harmonic Generator’ and ‘Lady’, they were soon able to sniff world fame and began their conquest with hard-hitting and memorable live shows. In the meantime, they have already released seven records such as ‘Smoke And Mirrors’ (2006) and the fuzz-drenched ‘Death Rattle Boogie’ (2012), with new instant classics like ‘Maximum Heartbreak’ and ‘System Overload’ on their track record. Their last album ‘Eye to Eye’ already dates from 2021, but now they are coming with new material AND they promise to bring their highly appreciated older work along. Summer has become just that little bit more beautiful again!
