Discovering the dunes, the impact of invasive plants on wild bees.

The Zwin dunes and polders are a 222-hectare nature reserve next to the much better-known Zwin plain. Together, the 2 areas form the Flemish nature reserve 'Het Zwin'. The area consists of dune forests, flower-rich dune grasslands, scrub, and pools full of life. During this guided tour, we will go exploring in the Zwin dunes, in search of wild bees and other typical insects of our coastal dunes. We will also reflect on the impact that invasive plants have on this valuable nature and learn to recognize them.
