During this 43rd edition of the Summer Sundays, we are once again presenting four consecutive Sundays of free open-air concerts on the Krankhoeve estate!\n\nFrom 4 PM every Sunday, you can enjoy a snack & drink on the terrace in collaboration with several local associations. In the evening, we always provide atmospheric concerts under the butterfly sail.\n\nIn the meantime, children can let off steam in the playgrounds & the play forest of the beautiful estate, and we also provide some traditional games on the lawn.\n\nThis first Sunday of the series is part of \"Vlaanderen Feest!\" on the occasion of the Feast of the Vlaamse Gemeenschap.\n\nContinuous terrace with snacks & drinks – from 4 PM.\nin collaboration with Kon. Muziekvereniging Bonheiden
Kon. Muziekvereniging Bonheiden – 6 PM.\nOur own Music Association from Bonheiden under the direction of Bart Van Buggenhout adds beautiful musical colors to Vlaanderen Feest again this year!\n\nSpeech from the municipal government - 7 PM.\n\nDORPSKLAP (with, among others, Ronny Mosuse) – 8:30 PM.\nSinger/bassist Ronny Mosuse, together with legendary Belpop drummer Stoy Stoffelen, keyboardist Edwin Risbourg, trumpeter Sam Versweyveld (Buscemi), guitarist Sam Pieter Janssens & singer Annelies Tanghe (And Then Came Fall), presents a beautiful set of songs. The repertoire consists of Dutch-language hits, mostly from Belgian pop history, with which one of the band members always has a link and a unique story. Expect hits by, among others, Raymond van het Groenewoud, The Scene, Will Tura, Guido Belcanto,..., but also translations of greats like Prince, Grace Jones,... The special thing about this band is that all musicians come from the same village (Wijgmaal) ...and that they like to 'chat' (klappen) with each other. Dorpsklap (Village Chat) then!
