Cine-meeting: La Solution, Désobéissance Civile?

Faced with ecological, social, and democratic crises, new forms of civic engagement are emerging all over the world. But when traditional paths seem insufficient, does civil disobedience become a legitimate response? Can it constitute a lever for transformation in the face of the climate emergency, industrial devastation, or attacks on fundamental freedoms? Uprisings paints a choral portrait with sixteen voices of an intergenerational resistance movement driven by a youth fighting against land and water grabbing, industrial devastation, the rise of totalitarianism, and political repression. The film highlights ecological, social, and democratic commitments that question our collective capacity to defend common goods, preserve living things, and reinvent forms of civic action. The screening will be followed by a discussion with the audience.
