Esther Verheye

Esther Verheye is a mezzo-soprano from Ghent. After her classical guitar studies, she took lessons with the famous soprano Hendrickje Van Kerckhove. Esther Verheye is a musical jack-of-all-trades. She has already performed in our church as a singer-songwriter under the name Eistear and is now returning with a classical repertoire, accompanied by a colleague of Opera van Vlaanderen on the harp. Furthermore, she sings and plays in the Spanish-language duo Mi Alma, has done numerous projects as a soloist, and is a choir member at Opera Ballet Vlaanderen. During her recital in our church, Esther will perform the song repertoire of Fauré and Debussy and arias by Bizet, Bellini, and Mozart. A varied program full of poetry, drama, and love.
