Nadar Ensemble : HAPPY BIRTHDAY - 20 YEARS OF NADAR

20 years of Nadar Ensemble: a sharp and sensory total experience. ‘Flanders’ most adventurous ensemble’, dixit De Standaard, exists 20 years. That anniversary is celebrated by Nadar Ensemble, for years a resident artist at DE SINGEL, with a veritable anniversary weekend. Besides an exhibition about 20 years of Nadar, artist talks, school performances, etc., the highlight of this weekend is of course the anniversary concert on Friday evening at 7:00 PM in the Theater Studio of DeSingel. Program: In Mesh van Stefan Prins blur the boundaries between human, technology and nature. Using headphones, each listener creates their own perspective, allowing the concert to unfold both individually and collectively. In Laughter Studies van Louis d’Heudières, created in collaboration with musicians from Fameus, creates a playful yet sharp reflection on multilingualism, communication and the concert ritual itself. Finally, in Hide To Show van Michael Beil all stops are pulled out in a virtuoso and technologically stunning tour de force in which image, sound and performance seamlessly coincide. A sensory experience that constantly keeps your vision and hearing on edge, exactly as you would expect from Nadar Ensemble. Tickets and info: www.desingel.be
