Reaching for the Sun

Let yourself be carried away by the tones of modest cabaret in the intimate atmosphere of the Mechelen city theater. Het Mechelse Vokalis, under the direction of Jeroen Keymeulen, presents a concert of cabaret classics and the music of deceased former choir member Ludwig Janssens, in collaboration with his children. The choir performs arrangements of this beautiful Dutch-language music, accompanied by piano and clarinet. Are you a cabaret fanatic? Or a regular fan of the choir or the city theater? Or a former choir member or relative of Ludwig Janssens? All excellent reasons to be there! But actually… you don't need a reason at all: everyone is welcome!
