I Love Sushi – The Japan Foundation Traveling Exhibition

Through a rich selection of Ukiyoe prints, historical materials, food samples, scale models, videos, and a lifesize replica of a sushi counter, the exhibition explores how sushi evolved over more than a thousand years, from its early origins to the familiar forms enjoyed around the world today. Visitors can discover regional varieties, learn about craftsmanship and ingredients, and gain insight into the cultural significance of sushi in Japanese daily life.
This exhibition is presented by the Japan Foundation, in cooperation with the Embassy of Japan in Belgium.
